Typically, Porter County is blue-ish. The Indiana counties up there in the northwest corner are more like Chicago than they are the southern part of the state. We get Chicago news channels and follow Chicago sports teams. A lot of people commute to Chicago every day to work. A lot of others are union members who work at the mills.

Just like everyone else, I have political beliefs, but I tried to leave them out of the article because the chaos that happened on Election Day should worry every voter, whichever their political party is.
